Weaning works

'Weaning Works' is a series from the 'treat-yourself' boy of work. It is a collaborative mother-daughter project tracking the pair's experience of the weaning process as they attempt to (re)learn a healthy relationship with food.

The project is a playful recording of the first year of 'meals' expressed  through the remnants. Photographic records are accompanied by ‘Food drawings’; paper marked with the traces of the food remains, created by attaching the paper to the highchair tray, prior to the meal. In conjunction with the visual aspect are detailed recordings of each meal, the date, contents and its reception.
